The RAW foundation was set up by RAW founder Josh Kesselmann, with the aim of giving back.  Raw donates a significant portion of its profits to extremely worthwhile causes and projects via the foundation, including feeding malnourished children, running a hospital of last resort and supporting sustainable water supplies by establishing wells in areas prone to drought.

Whilst the foundation does support some local projects, much of the projects are in countries where there is massive need for support and investment.  Josh runs the foundation based on what he terms ''enterpreneurial Philanthropy', which is summed up as saving and improving the highest number of lives possible with the available resources, i,e, projects are chosen where investments are likely to have the highest impact.
